How AimStakes collects, uses, and protects your data. We aim to be direct and specific — no legalese where plain English works.

Last updated: June 25, 2026
01 Who We Are

AimStakes is a community-run Valorant platform offering two products: peer-to-peer wagers and bracket-style tournaments. The platform consists of a Discord bot and this public web dashboard, used to track competitive wagers, tournament results, player stats, and verified ranks.

We are not a licensed financial service. Wagers on AimStakes are peer-to-peer agreements between community members, facilitated by volunteer middlemen. If you have questions about your data, contact us through the Discord server.

03 How We Use Your Data

Powering the platform. Your Discord account info is used to authenticate you, display your profile, and associate your wager activity with your account. Stats and history are used to calculate leaderboard rankings.

Community integrity. Verified rank data ensures fair matchmaking by confirming players only wager within their rank range. Non-payment reports and blacklists exist to protect the community from bad actors.

Moderation. Staff can view tickets, reports, and audit logs to investigate disputes and enforce community rules. All admin actions are logged with the acting staff member's identity for accountability.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the platform.

04 What Is Publicly Visible

The following information is visible to anyone who visits the site, without logging in:

Your display name, avatar, wager stats, wager history, verified rank, player reviews, tournament placements, achievements, and season records are shown on your public profile page and the leaderboard. This is the core purpose of the platform — tracking competitive records.

If you participate in wagers or tournaments, your activity will appear publicly. There is no private mode. If you want your data removed, see Section 7.

05 Third Parties

Discord. Login is handled via Discord OAuth2. When you authorize the app, Discord shares your user ID, username, display name, and avatar with us. We do not receive your email or password. Discord's own Privacy Policy governs how they handle your data.

Hosting. The platform is hosted on Railway. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Database backups and logs are managed by Railway's infrastructure.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for commercial purposes. We do not use analytics services, ad networks, or tracking pixels.

06 Data Retention

Sessions expire automatically after 7 days of inactivity. Logging out immediately invalidates your session.

Wager history and stats are retained as the competitive record of the community for as long as you have an account. You can remove them at any time by using the "Delete my data" option on your profile page.

Rank verifications expire after a set period (currently 30 days) and must be renewed. Expired ranks are removed from your profile.

Discord name cache is refreshed periodically to reflect display name changes on Discord.

Closed tickets and resolved reports are retained for moderation history but are not shown publicly.

07 Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your information.

Data access. Your public profile page shows what data we hold and display about you. You can view your stats, match history, rank, and reviews at any time.

Correction. If your display name or avatar is out of date, log out and back in — the site refreshes Discord data on login. If rank data is incorrect, open a support ticket.

Deletion. If you are logged in, you can delete your data directly from your profile page using the "Delete my data" option at the bottom of the page. This removes your stats, rank, reviews, reputation, wager history, and all other account data. You can also contact us via the Discord server to request manual removal.

Opt-out. Participation in AimStakes is voluntary. If you no longer wish to participate, simply stop using the Discord bot. New wagers won't be recorded.

08 Cookies

We use two cookies, both strictly necessary for the platform to function:

Cookie Purpose Duration HttpOnly
session Authenticates you after Discord login. Contains a random token that is matched against our database. 7 days Yes — not accessible to JavaScript
csrf Protects admin actions from cross-site request forgery. Derived from the session token via HMAC. 7 days No — read by our own JavaScript only

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies. There is no cookie consent banner because the only cookies we set are essential for the site to function.

09 Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to how we collect or use your data, we will post an update in the Discord server. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after a policy update constitutes acceptance.
